It's funny, because like you said in the last video, you look at the movies coming out these days, and they're all remakes and sequels and sequels of remakes, and you think, "Well, I guess Hollywood just ran out of ideas." And then you go back to the early days of filmmaking and you realize they didn't have any new ideas then, either.

Hamlet was already a well known story before Shakespeare wrote his version. Remake, sequel, whatever... it's what you do, not what you're doing. I'd rather watch Blade 2 than, I dunno... Anything that isn't Blade 2. I thought I was going to make a serious point, but I think I just want to go watch Blade 2.

So this is Black Zombie? The guy in the beginning makes me think of that Three Stooges scene "This house has suuuure gone crazy"

I'm not saying I dislike sequels. Hell, maybe I'll go watch Blade 2, also, when I get home tonight.

Actually, I do kind of dislike remakes, though. It's one thing when it's a remake of something that maybe wasn't that good the first time, or was kind of a cult thing, and now they want to do it as a big Hollywood spectacle. But I don't know...when I hear that they want to remake movies like Total Recall, I'm always thinking, "Damn--that was not only in my lifetime, but I was already a teenager. AND it was awesome." Come up with a new idea, please.

Black Zombie. Shit... I wish I had thought of that joke! I might use that in a different video. If I do, just pretend like I made it up.

As for remakes... yeah, I agree, for the most part. On one hand, as awesome as Total Recall was, it wasn't at all faithful to the original story by Philip K. Dick. On the other hand... who gives a shit since it was so awesome? It was BETTER than the original story.
