I tried to keep that in mind. Maybe I would've enjoyed it more if I watched it with the original audio with subtitles turned on. Then again, maybe I would've hated it more.

Yeah, I kind of hate it when horror movies don't have a semi-likeable human anchor, because if I hate everybody, then what do I care if they all die?
Also, I'm just going to put this out there: it seems like Asian horror films that are hailed as classics are never nearly as good as people claim they are.
Yeah, another one I've heard a lot about is a Japanese zombie/samurai/vampire movie called Versus. Sounds awesome, right? Well, I'm not reviewing it because it was just too boring and weird.

I'm sure the dialogue is terrible, none of these Asian movies translate well literally.

I'm looking at the user review for this on the IMDb. In one of the reviews, the guy gives it 5.3 out of 10 stars.
What the fuck is .3 of a star? What kind of ridiculous calculus is this guy using to assign ratings to films?
